Cake

Jamie Lindeman

As one of Pittsburgh’s select female DJs, Jamie Lindeman, better known as DJ Cake, brings something unique to the table with her combination of grace and wittiness.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, her love of music began at an early age. Jamie's journey began as the child recording on audio cassettes and making up dance routines, to later controlling the iPod playlist amongst friends. The spark for DJing ignited in high school while working as a banquet server. Jamie felt inspired by the work of the DJs at weddings; as she served the guests, she dreamed of herself in that role, serving people in a new way by feeding their souls with great music.

Over the course of ten years, Jamie has built experience in various roles of event coordination while perfecting her craft as a DJ. Her well-rounded knowledge of the many facets of executing a successful event distinguishes her from other DJs. She understands and has experience with many roles such as serving, event staffing, food & beverage management, banquet management, and independent non-profit fundraising. Hospitality has always been a passion of hers and she continues to deliver. Jamie's DJing resume reflects a wide variety of adaptability ranging from weddings and corporate events, to her own Hiit Play fitness events, and most enthusiastically children’s parties.
